| We currently run a BEEP program which brings city children to Boorowa to examine first-hand life on a farm and the issues facing farmers today. This two day excursion is led by a teacher from St Joseph's and the information is presented by our students. | We would like to conduct a program that assists our overseas students in adapting themselves to the new culture in the shortest period of time. This would address both school and home environment through a variety of activities such as inviting guest speakers to pass on their personal experiences and provide positive role models, and hosting karaoke dinners and sporting competitions. Organising excursions to the partner school and setting up email contact would build a social network for the students from both schools.» more |
