| We would like to conduct a cultural exchange with the Australian International Academy, formerly Noor al Huda Islamic college. This is to expose students in a very controlled manner to Muslim-people with whom they would otherwise never come into contact. Through this exchange we hope to help dispel the myths surrounding Islam, and in so doing broaden the outlook of students and expose them to the fact that they are not doing the HSC in isolation. An excursion of this manner would also be invaluable in preparing them for life beyond school and Temora.» more |
